Hello Teasipper: I'm sorry I don't really have any suggestions for you as far as finding a counselor you might connect with is concerned. To my knowledge there are simply no shortcuts. You just have to find out who's available in your geographic area & pick someone to try.

And there are other websites as well where one can get some idea as to the interest areas, educational backgrounds, professional experience, ages & genders of the individuals who are listed. This can be at least a place to start. My personal experience has been it is of limited value. But, then, you have to start somewhere.
