Those are fantasies/daydreams and "good" for you. I use to do that all the time, use to have bridges collapse and rescue my passenger (usually my niece who I rarely in actuality had with me) by diving for her in freezing water and barely making it to "shore" and being in the hospital and T visiting me because I was calling for her in my delirium and being the only one who could quiet me :-)
I treat my fantasies kind of like I do dreams and just let it tell me more about myself so I was aware of it. Wanting someone to believe you and take care of you (in my case I wanted to be needed and admired, "noticed" for who I am) is not wrong. We need that and often don't get that sense of ourselves as children. It's a "neglected" part of ourselves that needs looking at and helping develop.
