I have worked for insurance companies yet it is my firm belief that the insurance and banking industries are economic vampires taking a greater and greater cut of the pie while producing nothing. They lure us in by promising security (an illusion) or by forcing us to obtain more insurance than we really want by buying off our politicians. It is no wonder that I was not promoted while I worked in this industry. My attitude toward it prevented my success. Instead I tended to empathize with my customers while at the same time having the feeling of being ticked off all the time because of all the injustices going on.......
