I wouldn't let it bother you, but it's hard not too. I'm not a socailizer I have a job to do. In some jobs your expected to be involved and social. I think the job you are doing was a good fit because of the independence. I know you feel there is something wrong with you but really there's not It's who you are and some employers like people that are qiute. If you like the type of work your doing and have experience pursue it. good luck!
