I have a friend with Bipolar and they seem to act and talk similarly about being okay and not needing sleep when they are in mania part of the cycle. The unfortunate thing for them is they do not listen to other people and usually end up in patient in the hospital after they finally hit a wall and cannot go on anymore. It is difficult for them to see the wall but others do. I am glad they are listening to other people and taking their meds. I can talk to them now and it is good to have my friend back.
