My brother-in-law is in bad shape, and needs a caretaker while my sis is at work. They don't have the money, and they claim his medicare won't pay for one.He's eligible for medicaid-which would help with a caregiver-but my sister has the idea that, if he gets medicaid, the government will kick her out of her house and make her live on the streets when my BIL dies. So my sister nominated me as his free caregiver! I don't mind helping out, but because of my own situation, I just can't do that as much as she wants. I have a bad back, and a re-occuring hernia, so I can't do much physically. And because my MI, I am in therapy (including group), and I just can't do it all the time.
