We all could have been spared a lot of heartache if someone in special ed had done something with this kid. Not to mention, when my daughter was out on FMLA leave, it was unpaid.
Frustrating, but at least it is moving toward a decent resolution (fingers crossed).

I totally agree. That kid should have long since come to the attention of the powers that be. I hope something will be done about him before he gets worse.
