It might be making it worse. I used to have barely noticeable tinnitus from effexor so I have had annoying ringing for a few years.

It is not a good mix with my psychosis. I sometimes get compulsions to take a nail to my ears. I don't think I would do it as the compulsions are not very strong and it takes extremely strong compulsions to get me to act on it.
