Hello Humpty Dumpty: I'm sorry you struggling with this. I guess it's up to you to decide which way to go. I understand how you feel. I am at least passively suicidal every day. My mother-in-law had her gall bladder removed quite a few years ago now. At least in her case, it was really no big deal at all. The day she got out of the hospital, she went out with us & ate pizza! Of course your doctors & the hospital want to be prepared for any possibility. But, at least so far as I'm aware, having one's gall bladder removed is no big deal.
