people are amazed that cats and dog can get just about anything humans can. although theyre not exactly the same illness. take for example a growing epidemic in the cat population: chlamydia. Its not an STD like in humans and doesnt have the same effect. In cats it can lay dormant and then show itself when the cat gets sick or if the cat's immune system is low and usually rears its ugly head as an upper respiratory infection or some other illness like that.

im sorry your doggy is sick. some antibiotics should do the trick. make sure your vet does some kind of culture or test to make sure. my cat was being treated for an upper respiratory infection when she really had sinusitis. and all it took was a culture. plus its much more exapsnive in the long run if they just quickly brush over the symptoms. hopefully your vet truly cares about your pup.

good luck.
