Nothing has worked since I first posted.

I had done a few updating right before it quit midstream.(Nothing earthshattering, Open Office update, and something similar I think.) I was observing my ebay sale when the monitor went blank, and the keyboard nor mouse would bring up a page.

The cpu, when turned on does access the keyboard and the monitor, as the monitor alerts with being on saving power mode. Now that I've unplugged everything, the monitor blocks across to check cable.
