I'm sorry to hear about your dog. My dog, a mutt, has chronic allergic bronchitis. She's just starting back up with coughing again. It's so hard to listen to, and it's very apparent she doesn't feel good. The only thing that's kicked the symptoms completely is prednisone, but she has a liver mass that grows when she's on steroids. They haven't been able to identify what it is via needle aspirations, so we're trying to keep her okay without the steroids. But she takes an antihistamine, a bronchodialotor, and codeine as needed when her cough gets bad. We're also doing allergy shots for her identified allergy to dust mites.

I hope your dog's bronchitis is acute and not a long term thing. Poor babies. It's hard to see them sick.
