I'm feeling like the only way to create a stable sense of self is to do similar things, a lot of times over a long period of time.
If you can't find the thing you want to do over and over again, no problem. Just do what you feel like doing right now.
BUT--pay attention to whether you really like it, and/or what specifically you like about it. You have to let go of defining what it means about you. Focus on FUN and enjoyment, what, if done differently, would create more of it?
A sense of self is like, a hindsight thing. You look back on your past and you basically say... "yeah, a lot of memories are tied to __________"
You don't build it while looking toward the future, or analyzing yourself and your interests.
So a sense of self is just habits formed.
