He wants to boost my Seroquel dosage, which will likely knock me on my @ss. Short term, it may help, but I'm thinking long term with an antidepressant as a preventative measure.
Hi Blue, Did your pdoc say just how an antidepressant would make things worse for you? There's always some concern when prescribing antidepressants when someone deals with BP. Often, the concern is provoking mania.

I deal with BP II and I feel worse on a lot of antidepressants. I don't tend to experience mania; I tend to become even more depressed. My depression is very "treatment-resistant."

I am sorry you are having such a difficult time.
I hope you can find relief AND live your life.
