Those boats. My dad spontaneously bought a sailboat on the way back from work one day... without discussing with family. Shortly after they were selling their home to move into something far less expensive. My dad has never been diagnosed.. but he's never held a job and so many passions and so many impulsive purchases.

The funny thing.. is that my wife DID make the decision to buy a boat this year. I certainly did not object. We had a very big tax return and some in savings.. and we live on Lake Superior and she really wants our kids to grow up here experiencing the islands. She absolutely runs the finances and knew that we could make it. I try to make my purchases knowing NOTHING about our money.
