My brother is still here but I don't know for how much longer... I am really hoping he can stay. I don't want to be here with just my mom (read: alone).

However, the fact the hospital hasn't called us yet is very good news. I only hope my dad continues to improve. It is good that he's a relatively strong and healthy man otherwise. Someone like my mom would not have survived this far. I hate to say it, but it's true...
