At around 10pm tonight a woman (regular customer) came in with her young son.

She said something about how I'm probably getting off soon..I said I still have an hour. Then she said you're face is getting all skinny. She was looking down at the card reader... I didn't even know for sure if she was talking to me

I said, are you talking about me? She said yeah, have you lost weight. All while looking at the card reader

I felt embarrassed and also just weird, I mean, she said it in a strange judgemental way. I said something like oh, I don't know

She said I didn't think you needed to do anything anyway

I just said well

I mean I didn't know wtf to say

All the while her little boy is just standing there staring at me

I should write a book or a blog about the random and strange interactions I have at work
