So any school staff is going to talk to your CM about what is going on with you. As a CM, our job is to help you be successful in school, and to do that, we need information about what is going on.

I want you to take a step back for a moment to think about something. You didn't receive any instruction from a teacher for months and you're still passing. That's amazing! It speaks to your academic abilities. So are you being a perfectionist? A little bit, sure. No judgement from me, though, because I'm a perfectionist.

So at the end of the day, your school is probably looking at this as no big deal, you're passing, fantastic. If some of the kids on my caseload missed that much school, I'd be worried about them being retained. I get where they're coming from.

The part of this that bothers me, though, is that I can't see how they can justify you receiving FAPE if you had a medical reason for being out of school for as long as you were. But without reading your IEP or any prior notices, anything else I say would be speculation.

The feelings that you're describing about feeling lost and hopeless are understandable. I want to tell you that colleges don't really care about one test grade, but I don't want to invalidate how you feel either. I want to highly encourage you to seek out an advocate who can liaison on your behalf with the district. Next steps are stressful, but if you feel as strongly as you do about the grades, then you'll need to go down that road.

If you'd like, feel free to PM me to discuss more specific information. I'll certainly be happy to continue to support, but any other advice I give wouldn't be appropriate for a public forum.
