My situation: a new boyfriend, age 59. I am 46. We are reconnecting after a twenty year hiatus. Had sex once twenty years ago and he did not have ED. Now he has it to some extent: likes being fellated and stays hard, but does not come, yet loses erection when attempts to have vaginal sex. Says that next time he will be prepared - I take it, he means Viagra or Cialis or Levithra or whatever the newest preparation for ED is. I have never had sex when anti ED drugs were involved - at least not with my awareness, so that will be the first time. What should I expect? Do the drugs make the whole problem go away or will the guy still need special stimulation? Why he has this problem seems to be age, because he is extra skinny and does not suffer from depression or take AD's, so other than a natural malady of aging, I do not see what his partial ED might be attributed to. Please tell me what to expect, how I can make him feel at ease, and how I myself can enjoy it more - the thought of medication-induced erection is not per se enjoyable...
