These past few years my family chose to celebrate holidays on our own terms on days that work for all of us. Today my parents and I are celebrating Easter today and I assume they'll celebrate with my brother when they see him. Last Christmas we celebrated on the 11th so we can include my brother. I'm used to celebrating Thanksgiving a week early, but Christmas was so strange because it wasn't on the day and that was the first year we did that, but it still felt Christmas-y. And what was stranger was when the 25th came we were all wondering what all the commotion was about on social media. It was a strange feeling.

Do you celebrate holidays on different days than the actual holiday? Have any of you celebrated Christmas outside of Christmas day (not including Christmas Eve, I know lots of people do that).
