To echo TishaBuv, it sounds like she was reading your fortune. That being said, I think it was wrong of her and cruel to give you a negative fortune. I highly doubt she actually knew if those things would come true. Of course, thats just my opinion. It sounds like her words had a deep impact on you. Maybe it turned into a self fulfilling prophecy. The reason why "curses" work, is because the person inflicted believes wholeheartedly in what the curser says. The power of belief is very strong I have been told. Maybe try to open yourself up to the possibility that only you control your life and happiness.
