Back when I actually had family to celebrate Christmas with, we used to always celebrate it right after New Years time because my mother's birthday was Jan 7th so we did both her birthday celebration and Christmas at once to make things easy.

Now, I don't celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving at all and instead stay away from people and play video games and drink egg nogg during those times because those holidays are depressing without family.
