I just recently learned about BPD.
Throughout my life, I always got into doing something, then stopped, and went on to something else. I never stuck with one thing. I didn't see anything wrong with it, still don't. If you can get financial support, it doesn't matter.
I changed styles, adapted myself to blend with bf's. I thought I was just like Madonna.
There are plenty of things that I truly like and have my own opinions. When I'm smiling and laughing, I know I am enjoying myself and having a good time. When I can't stand something, I know it.
When there is a barrier in your path, you must figure out how to get around it. I always did this, never knowing that I had a disorder.
Now that I look back, it seems so much more clear.
It's a great talent to be a chameleon. Use it to your advantage.
