You do care about the issue with her clothes....read the first couple paragraphs of your post.

Are you the "leader" of this group? Is there someone to talk to about this?

Is there some type of negative attention seeking going on here? Is this a passive aggressive situation? Are you reading this persons body language & also the people around this person? What type of sentence structure is being used by this person?
What type of reaction is the group giving this person? Where are her eyes during this? What type of tone is used? Is it repetitive? There's so much more here.

It's not a misunderstanding. I'm asking you to step back from the obvious....the clothes...the nails...etc & really "see" the situation from a fresh perspective. Study it. It might even be comical.
Read up on body language, facial expressions, voice inflection etc.
People say a great deal in these areas that most humans don't look at anymore....bec we ignore them. You could have a lot of fun analyzing this situation, but you have to look past the obvious.
