I'm sure it was very difficult for you....especially seeing this persons reaction.

There is no accounting for what people think or how they react. I do so hope you can find some peace and calm very soon. I know it's not easy.

If your friends know the scoop and still invited this person knowing you would be there, I think I would seriously question where their loyalties lie. In my estimation, they are not very good friends to you!
