seriously: late nite/very early AM revelation. My psychiatrist isn't playing. The disability people aren't playing, either. Mental illness isn't just something the shrinks made up for power and profit, is it? People have always gone mad. Crazy. Nuts. Etc, etc, etc.

Is it a brain problem? I dunno. I'm down to 2 daily psych drugs and doing (surprisingly) well. If my brain isn't the problem, why does a tranquilizer make my life so much more live-able?

Ahhh, yes; the human brain. Do we--"the severely mentally ill"--even need as many brain cells as our (more) 'normal' peers? Psychiatrists must not think so. I might not. Apparently, my mental abilities (yes, the all important IQ estimate...) are back up, despite being electroshocked to oblivion a while back. I also have a different--thankfully, better--personality. Part maturation, part...who knows? I feel a bit like Zen and The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.
