I'm not sure what to think, but these meds are really improving the content of my dreams. I wouldn't say I had nightmares before, there was never any waking/sweating thing; but they were always grindingly horrific, dreary; sad and lonely, for years really.

Now I have the little star wars furballs playing intergalactic travel by stargate ring, but using little tarot cards instead of the dialer, bringing great healthcare and amusingly horrible public infrastructure to all they visit.

Not sure how a tiny dose of abilify (2.5mg) is pulling that off, but its not something I could ever do by placebo induction, or I would have done it years ago!

I do feel very "activated" by the abilify now that its at a mostly stable level, makes me a little concerned, but I've not felt driven to do anything stupid, and there's no aggression or irritability in the mix.

Sure do understand why some folks drink alcohol to take the edge off this feeling, but I think I'll remain a teetotaler, past experience is not favorable to such self-medication.

Wish I could just call up and say, "doc, more depakote!" But I decided I'd try to be completely neutral at least this first year, see what her game plan produces before begging... lol.
