Regarding the Lamictal, you might just want to check with your NP. I started out on 25 mg 1x day as a I tapered up to 2X then 3X, etc. I wouldn't think the 25 mg 2x daily would necessarily hurt, but best to talk to a doctor/your NP. As bizi said above, just be aware early on of any rash (or itchy skin) since this can be a serious side effect, yet rare. I have been on 400 mg for a while now without any side effects.
