I've tried many ADs. They don't do **** for me. Not a one of them has even touched my depression. The newest one I tried was brintellix, which I think they changed the name to trintellix. Nothing. No difference at all.
So I had to go old school with an maoi. Works much better for me, no side effects, no dietary restrictions at the low dose I'm on. Although the one I take is actually relatively new (2006).
