I'm on an "updated" version of risperdal, invega. I get a once monthly injection. I do not have drowsiness problems. I was on risperdal at various times throughout my life and didn't experience drowsiness that I can remember. How long have you been on it? Sometimes people have initial side effects that wear off after a month or so.
