I was on 4mgs/risperidone w/ other stuff, but I was switched out to a high dose (30mgs) of Abilify.

Looking back, risperidone was ok. I think I would have tolerated it better if I had not been on depakote (depakote is my kryptonite).

My current shrink tells that at (I think...)6 mgs or less, risperidone is a very good drug, and now its generic. The major problems and horror stories happen in heavy cocktails and when the dose is ramped up too high.

I hope it keeps working well for you. I'm glad you find the risperidone effective.
