I have had several and with some performed by females as well as by males. It is not unusual for the doc or technician to use motions feeling like some kind of massage or even groping, and that has to do with their need to get everything just right before snapping the next picture. The same kind of thing happens for me when my eye doc or one of his techs takes certain pictures of the insides of my eyes. Even though there is no physical contact involved there, one tech once explained to me that it is like groping around in the mud while trying to find the best angle for snapping a picture in the dark.
