Thanks. I don´t think my counselors behaviour is degrading per se but the situation is. I don´t need to initiate the hug and by that I´ll avoid this feeling but I hadn´t thought of it before in the way I do now.

I agree the lack of reciprocity can create feelings that are very hard to handle and I easily feel I´m dependent in a negative way.
