I recently got a notebook that can be used as a journal and means of opening communication between alters at the recommendation of my therapists and psychiatrist who specializes in DID.

I started off by keeping a log of ever 3 hours to check that I wasn't missing time and the idea was that if I was, whoever was out could maybe add something of their own or just check in on the notebook saying what time it was and who it was.

One morning I woke up and someone who's clearly psychotic wrote an extremely creepy and mildly triggering message in all caps and ever since, I've been really weirded out and haven't been using the notebook although I keep meaning to.

Anyone have something similar happen?

I have been writing in a journal on and off since 2010

when I started, it used to be once a day (sometimes more than once), but as I wrote in it more, I found myself repeating the same stuff and depressing myself with it- so stopped

I then realised that I didn't have any friends to talk about things too (I talked to my journal like a friend), so after a few years break I restarted it

maybe not as much as I used to, but I write in it these days maybe once or twice a week
Thanks for this!
