Shay, they are more then likely only going to ask you financial and living situation imformation. Usually the disability report is something you fill out yourself and send and they get records and make a decision. However, if they are doing the disability Social Report it is important that you give as much info as possible about how your illness affects your life, when is the last time you worked? can you drive? ETC. It is very important to be detailed about what the disability does to impede on your daily living. This advice also goes if you are given the disability report to do yourself, but you can contact me and I will help if you want. This I have done a lot with folks. However, 2 things not to do: Mention the weed, and discuss financial support from others. The less of that you have the better your Financial chances, however, they still need to determine you are disabled. Oh yeah, one more thing. If you believe you are disabled and can't work right now and you are denied, appeal it. I can give tips on that too. FYI, I had to call my credit union today and I felt like an idiot because I was asking pretty basic questions and needed the woman to walk me through. It's because it is what she does for a living and she is good. I have different expertise.
