My fiance *may* have an undiagnosed bipolar. Well, to be fair - several years back when we were both going to counseling - they told him he had bipolar ... but they also bounced back and forth between diagnoses on him. So right now, we don't have any doctors or therapists and are stuck. He does display all the classic symptoms of bipolar...
raging for no true reason, spending money wrecklessly, sleep problems, not allowing others to talk but getting upset if he is interrupted because then he loses track of what he was saying, memory loss, lack of interest in things he once enjoyed, looking forward to death, doing n saying things to sabotage our relationship, etc... But we cannot find therapists or doctors that take our insurance here.

So... My question is - how do I help him learn how to cope til we can get professional help?

It causes more probs than it otherwise may because I have my own set of psych probs but have learned how to keep them controlled (for the most part) but when he lashes at me - I unravel.
