Before I proceed, I will tell you that I do understand SI very well because I have been doing it for a long time.

However, I can't say that the razorblade necklace necessarily means "cutting is cool." I don't know that is why the manufacturer made it. The reasons someone chooses to wear it-- well that is a different thing. But I don't fault the manufacturer for that.

A razor blade is a thing. The person determines its use. I also know that when I was 18 and really into being gothic I wore a lot of stupid things that I wasn't trying to make any direct statment with except that "I can be goth and wear scary looking things." I even got a really stupid tattoo to go along with my really stupid accessories, which has since been completely removed by laser treatments.
