Did you ask for help? I would never ask to pay for something for someone that did not ask. She *may* be oblivious. My brother is poor AF compared to me and I do not give him ****. The times I have, not even a thank you was rendered, our parents raised us with manners. On the same hand, I have no idea what he needs help with.
