I thought I had solved my problems when I went to WalMart and bought some protein powder that you mix with milk, ice and whatever else. I faithfully drank at least two a day and sometime a little more. I basically quit eating other foods and even though the effort was primarily to keep the myelin sheaths on my nerves alive, I wanted so badly to lose weight with it.

I checked the main ingrediants, discovered all was ok there and never thought to read the fine print. I've been increasingly sick for two weeks. Yesterday if I had any sense at all, I would have called 911 to take me to the hospital.

That powder contains massive amounts of salt and potassium. I overdosed on both to the point of passing out, being dizzy, not being able to judge distances and just being very ill. Thank God literally that I had some antivert or I would have had no choice but call 911.

I've learned my lesson, but please be careful and read the fine print on everything you ingest.
