You did the right thing calling the property manager. If their lease says no smoking allowed, maybe there's something that can be done there, if they are violating that.

Maybe the manager can change the alarm if it's faulty. I'd think they are bothered by it going off at all hours, too.

I'd keep calling the manager daily until you get results. I'd also tell him you are going to start calling the fire dept. every time it goes off, if they don't fix this.

I'm sorry you have to suffer with this.
