So I have been in a horrible depressive episode lately, one of the worst ones I've ever experienced. I can't function or do anything. But I had a big paper to write and I was desperate, so I purchased adderall (one 25mg xr pill) from someone on campus.
The thing is, it didn't just help me write my paper -- it made me feel like a person again. It wasn't like I was high or anything, I just could function and be normal and feel happy. I felt the way I felt before I developed depression, years and years ago.
So I bought and took another pill and had the same feeling -- I felt like the "old" me. Taking adderall helped me feel better than any antidepressant I've ever been prescribed.
I want to bring this up to my T and pdoc, but the thing is, I'm a college student and I know many students will lie about having ADHD symptoms to get an adderall script to sell or abuse for school. I don't want that. I don't pretend to have ADHD. But I want to be able to take it every day, so I can feel normal and happy. Do you think it's worth bringing up with my T and pdoc?
