From what I've read, it's probably a *good* sign your AD isn't working super fast, as this is often an indication that it isn't actually "working," it's just triggering hypomania. When I took zoloft for the first time (without being on anything else), I felt like I was literally on a combination of crack and ecstasy within a matter of days. Though I felt totally and instantly cured, apparently this wasn't a good thing, and it definitely didn't last. The fact this hasn't been the case for you (except for the wired feeling you mention which sounds under control now) is a positive sign. It's totally normal for ADs to take up to 6 weeks or longer to really work. And even then you might find you'll need a higher dose. So, to answer your question: probably but in a totally understandable way
Thanks for this!
