Oh Jen, you are not a hypocrite. None of us follow all of our own advice. We can only do our best. Sometimes, I just have to accept that doing my best is good enough...I am never going to be perfect.

Christmas is a stressful time of the year. Family dynamics grow more complicated and such. Remember, you are not responsible for how your kids feel about their grandmother. Your mother is an adult--it is something she will need to deal with--you can't force your kids to love somebody.
