i have to say i called a local crisis line here once, several years back and i never called it again... i was careful not to say something that would send flashing lights (ooooh!) but the guy did help... just told ne if i felt dangerous to myself or others to turn myself in..

i wasn't intending to do any harm, just needed help, so, he gave me some referrals that i eventually ended up acting on...

i have a police scanner i listen to occasionally... i hear the "staff" as they communicate and evaluate the situation... a person with a background of mental combined with violent behavior stands more chance of being contacted by authorities... that's where i live anyway... we're all crazy here.. kinda accepted but, still an exclusive group in that..

people like you more if you're funny and crazy... not just crazy... (like i was)...

recently ive found my sense of humor returning... what a relief... i still have issues with humor though... has to pass a high degree of harmlessness or i'd rather not laugh...
