You might want to consider LPN. Hospitals really prefer RNs and don't care LPNs anymore but nursing homes and long term facilities do. It's a bit more rigorous training but it pays way better. Not as good as RN but certainly better than CNA.

But CNA is a good start for sure
Oh, I didn't know that. I sent a message to my cousin who is in the medical field working with the elderly, but I don't know his title. He spent many years getting his degree so apparently more than just CNA. But I'll double check with him and he'll know for sure what training I need to do.
