The manufacturer made it because people will by it. It is that simple. Like I have said, and like others have said before and after me, razor blades can be used for lots of other reasons. It's all about how the buyer interprets it. Also, some people just wear stuff and they have no idea what they are doing-- they are just going for a certain look. Like I said, I used to buy tons of stuff that I wore just to look a certain way. I used to have a couple of necklaces that had skulls on them-- was I obsessed with death? No. I just wanted to look a certain way at that age.
