My thoughts didn’t jump through flaming hoops suspended over a shark tank, and I haven't been experiencing so many hallucinations. Sounds good, right? I thought so, but now the drowsiness of the Seroquel kind of lingers. At times, I find myself dozing off while I’m in my office. I have taken naps after work, which is very rare for me. I also think that it is wreaking havoc with my appetite. It’s like I have the munchies or something. I’m trying to come down on the scale. My numbers are still good (blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol), so I don’t want to choose between sanity and more weight gain. I was on Seroquel a number of years ago, but I forgot why the doctor back then took me off it. Have any of you had any issues with Seroquel when you were prescribed it? Thanks.
I didn't have the munchies or gain weight but when I was prescribed Seroquel I had just started a new job and slept through my second day of my new job! I can't remember why my doctor took me off...maybe because of the sedation.
