Thatsw kind of my thought - but still what qualifies as a good or bad action also depends upon the person and their set of circumstances.

For example killing someone is generally bad - but there are situations in which that action is required to protect self or someone else.

That is a very generic example and does not go into all the varying reasons people with mental or emotional health issues may deem something another sees as "bad" - "good" in their eyes. At that point you must ask yourself the question who is to determine who is right and who is wrong? Isn't that saying one is better than the other?

Unless you accept the bible (which I do - but I do still wonder if mentally or emotionally ill are held to the same standards) or something akin to it that lists out a code of morals - what do we have to go by to say for certain "this is right" and "this is wrong" and how can we judge those that may have differing circumstances or whose brain breaks things down in a completely different way by the same set of standards?

I hope that all makes sense..

That's why at times I may do something "wrong" with a thought I was doing the right thing - and then later consider myself a bad person.
