I understand completely! I went thru that quite a few years ago now. not something I would ever wish upon anyone! it down right s**ks!! it's a horrible feeling, when all you want to do is sleep and you can't!

try asking your doc about it and see what they have to say. maybe they can come up with something to help.

I had problems with sleeping for months about 1 1/2 years ago, but that was because I had a three-inch laceration on the back of my head! and my body's so banged up now that I just roll back and forth from one side to the other. at least when I do that, I can mostly stay or go back to sleep.

but for me, I have troubles falling asleep. so I listen to music or have the tv on. (I have a show on DVR that I play, meaning I've heard it enough times it's just background noise - same with the cds I use for music) years ago, I had a rule - if I was still awake at the end of the cd (which was roughly an hour long), I would get up and do some thing for a while. then I would try sleeping again after that. thankfully I'm so d**n exhausted these days, that I can barely go 24-30 hours without falling asleep. and I don't try to change my sleeping hours or patterns cuz I never want to go back to not being able to sleep!!!

good luck with it! and if you need to chat more about this or want to message someone who's awake when you are, feel free to hit me up.
Thanks for this!
