No, what happened to you at 9 did not "make" you gay. Just ask any competent Psychiatrist.
And what your parents did was flat out child abuse.
I came out at the age of 23 but knew at a much earlier age that I was 'different'. And at a bit older age (before coming out), that I was gay. It just took longer to admit it to myself.
